Pneumonia is the leading cause of death for children under five, killing 2,500 kids a day. Fortunately, vaccines to combat the disease are available. The high price of these vaccines, however, can be a barrier to access for families, humanitarian organizations, and governments in developing countries. In 2016, Doctors without Borders implemented a two-part campaign advocating for lower drug costs, mobilizing their grassroots supporters to achieve a significant win for children around the world.
